Whitsunday Scenic Flight Deals

There is no discount on the Whitsunday scenic flights that we could find. We read the GetYourGuide prices for dates between November 2026 and January 2027, for one adult and for two, and every flight showed the same price each time, with no promotion and no strike-through. The cheapest seat is Whitsunday Air Tours' 70-minute flight at US$219 a person (checked November 2026), with a catch: a van ride to Laguna Quays Airport, which its listing allows about 30 minutes each way.

Prices are per seat. Two adults pay twice, and we saw no lower price for a pair.

Every flight, both sites

GetYourGuide checked November 2026; Viator checked November 2026. Operators price by date and season, so treat the figures as the shape of the market, not a quote.

The two sites sit within a few dollars of each other for the same operator’s flight, sometimes one way, sometimes the other. The operators price in Australian dollars, so what you pay in another currency depends on the day’s conversion. Pick the site you already use; both cancel free up to 24 hours before.

When the cheapest seat is the right one

Whitsunday Air Tours costs about US$21 less than Fly Australia Charter and stays in the air ten minutes longer, for a group of no more than seven. Its route also takes in Conway National Park and the coast at Airlie Beach. What it costs you is time: the van, which its listing allows about 30 minutes each way, against ten minutes on Fly Australia Charter’s bus, and its route description does not name Heart Reef, which appears only among its highlights.

If you are watching the budget and the afternoon is free, it is the flight to take.

A package that costs less than two bookings

The Fly Raft package is the one place we found a saving. It pairs a 60-minute flight with a boat day to Hill Inlet and Whitehaven Beach, both run by Ocean Rafting, for US$388 a person. Booked apart, Ocean Rafting’s one-hour flight is US$244 on GetYourGuide and its boat day without the flight, Whitehaven Beach, Snorkelling & Hill Inlet Lookout, is US$174 on Viator (checked November 2026): about US$30 more together. What adds to the bill

• Public holidays. The Fly Raft day adds a Queensland public-holiday surcharge of A$20 an adult, A$10 a child or A$50 for a family of two adults and two children (Australian dollars). The three flights list no surcharge.
• Drinks and snacks on the Fly Raft boats are extra. Nothing is listed as extra on Fly Australia Charter’s flight, which includes marine park and airport fees.
• Missing the bus. If you miss Fly Australia Charter’s courtesy bus, getting to the airfield is at your own cost.
• Booking direct. Ocean Rafting, which runs the one-hour flight and the Fly Raft day, adds a 5% non-refundable booking fee to bookings made on its own site (checked November 2026).
